Every puppy will get a well-puppy checkup from our vet Dr. Irwin, at Cottonwood Animal Hospital, before they leave! They will receive their first round of shots, first monthly treatment for heartworm/flea/& tick, and dewormed before they go home.

We no longer remove dewclaws, (unless requested ahead of time) as new studies are showing they are important for proper joint growth, and are essential if they ever need to climb out of a dangerous situation, like a frozen pond etc.

Labradoodles are a cross breed between the Standard Poodle and Labrador Retriever. They are sought after for their gentle, even temperaments, and their affectionate and playful personalities. Generally, Labradoodles are not aggressive dogs, and they make a great choice for those who have children and other pets. They are outgoing and love to be around people.

They are very smart and pick up training very quickly. They are eager to please, so they enjoy learning new tricks and training activities.

Labradoodles are moderately active dogs. They require at least an hour and a half of daily exercise and play time. This should not be once per day but split over two to three sessions per day. They really enjoy walks and mental stimulation. These are very intelligent dogs, who love to play games of fetch, but they also enjoy puzzle toys, interactive games, treat dispensing toys, etc.
